Detectives interrogating a suspect on gun and drugs charges were forced to end the interview after the man continued to break wind violently during questioning. Sean Sykes Jr. let rip with a series of farts while being interrogated for intent to sell cocaine and being in possession of a firearm charges, causing Kansas City officers to suspend the interview.

Police decided not to file charges against him at the time but his luck ran out two months later, when he was found in possession of .38 caliber revolver, marijuana and crack cocaine.

He said: "Mr. Sykes leaned to one side of his chair and released a loud fart before answering with the address.” "Mr. Sykes continued to be flatulent and I ended the interview.”

But after being caught the second time, it seemed he had exhausted his get out clauses and remains in custody. He made an initial court appearance on Monday and is held in custody until a bond can be set.

但在第二次被抓获后，他似乎已经用尽了脱逃的借口，目前他依然被羁押。周一是他第一次出庭，直到确定保释金前他会一直被收押。
