A man wanted in Korea in connection to the death of three people has appeared at the North Shore District Court facing a charge of theft. The man allegedly stole a fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine worth $4100 in 2015, court documents allege.

一名因为与三起死亡案件有关而被韩国通缉的男子出现在北岸地区法院，他面临盗窃罪的指控。这名男子据说在2015年曾偷走价值4100纽币的电冰箱、微波炉和洗衣机。

He has been granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody without plea until November 1. He was arrested at 5.30pm yesterday by New Zealand police.

他被授予临时匿名保护，同时在11月1日前继续收押不得保释。他是昨天下午5:30被新西兰警方逮捕的。

The 35-year-old fugitive is wanted by police in Korea in relation to the murder of his mother, stepfather and 14-year-old half-brother in South Korea on October 21. The man fled to New Zealand with his wife and two young daughters following the deaths.

这名35岁的男子被韩国警方通缉。他在韩国的母亲、继父还有14岁同母异父的弟弟在10月21日被谋杀，据悉他和该谋杀案有关。该男子和妻子还有两个女儿在命案发生后逃来新西兰。

"New Zealand Police are continuing to liaise with Korean authorities and this matter is being treated as a priority," Detective Senior Sergeant Nadene Richmond said in a statement. "Extradition proceedings have not been received, for that reason, police cannot add anything further charge at this stage.”

高级探长Sergeant Nadine Richmond在一份声明中说：“新西兰警方正在和韩国当局联络，本案被视为优先事项。”他说，“我们还未收到引渡申请，因此目前警方只能以盗窃罪起诉该男子。”
