A UK man had to go to court to explain why he decided to start masturbating while waiting for his wife in a supermarket carpark.
近日，一名英国男子不得不去法院解释，为何自己决定在超市停车场等妻子的时候在车里手淫。

Timothy McTinghe, who desperately need those husband pods to become a reality near where he lives, was waiting for his wife outside the supermarket on Valentine's Day.

Timothy McTinghe就是这一事件的男主人公。情人节当天，他和老婆来到一家超市门外，决定在车里坐等的他很快就迎来了命运发生转折的那一刻（这时候真希望他超市能提供一个“老公休息舱”，如下图）。

The former carpenter reportedly got bored waiting for his wife outside Asda in Brighton Marina, East Sussex.
这名以前做过木匠的男子，在等待老婆进超市期间开始觉得无聊了。

The 51-year-old argued that he had been rubbing his leg because of pins and needles but admitted to a charge of public indecency after two people caught him in the act.
51岁的McTinghe对“小兄弟”做出不可描述的动作过程中，被路过的两名路人逮了个正着。即便如此他只是辩称自己当时只是如坐针毡，所以才“搓腿玩”来着。不过，他承认自己有碍风化。

pins and needles：如坐针毡；焦躁不安；手脚发麻；
public indecency：公然猥亵罪；
caught...in the act：逮个正着，抓个现行；

"He didn't think anybody else would be able to see him. Having been told someone else had seen him, he was mortified.
McTinghe的辩护律师Ed Fish说：“他以为没人能看得到他的动作。但当有人告诉他被看到时，他感到很难为情。”

Mortified：窘迫的；受辱的；

The man escaped a sexual offence conviction as the judge believed he did not intend for anyone to see him.
McTinghe逃脱了性犯罪的定罪，因为法官认为他不打算让任何人看到他的生殖器。
